Ahead of the 2019 NFL season, we put in approximately 120 speakers on the lower level along with 70 new speakers on the canopy level with additional 21” subwoofers on each side of the canopy level. American Sound was founded shortly after World War II when Lou Toerner came home from the war and began his company. His son, Jack, took over the business 40 years later. By 1988, we moved into our huge 24,000-square-foot facility on Russell Street. Jack became the president of the National Sound Contractors Association (NSCA) in the mid-1990s, furthering our prestige in the industry.
American Sound expanded from a few microphones and speakers in 1946 to a full array of media, communications technology, video equipment, sound masking speakers, videoconferencing equipment, and video walls. Our company, like our installations, is built to last.
